Southlake Paddle Club Conduct and Court Etiquette Expectations
Again, welcome to the Southlake Paddle Club! We're excited to have you onboard! Most of us play this great game of Pickleball for 3 main reasons; socialization, exercise and competition. In our opinion, there's no better sport that provides this incredible variety.
We are a no drama, "keep Pickleball fun" club. We believe by setting expectations for conduct up front, this may squelch potential issues from ever happening. So, we bring you the Southlake Paddle Club conduct and court etiquette expectations! We ask that you skim through these reasonable expectations and place them somewhere in the back of your mind in the off-chance you may need them. Here we go.
As members of the Southlake Paddle Club (SPC), we agree to always strive to meet the following minimum expectations regarding our Pickleball experience on and off the courts together. These notions of courtesy and etiquette are set forth in the interest of encouraging and maintaining an environment for the best experience for everyone in the club:
SPC strives to create an atmosphere of respect, courtesy, and camaraderie among members.
Appropriate social behavior and treatment of others is expected of all SPC players and patrons.
Any person acting inappropriately or disrespectfully may lose the privilege to participate in SPC programs.
SPC will succeed best if its players embrace the values of good sportsmanship, model good behavior, lead by example, display respect, and show self-control during competition.
Every SPC Member agrees to not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct or encourage others to do so.
In short, we will treat each other with respect, and observe the Golden Rule of doing unto others as we would want them to do unto us.
